ALBION AVIATION RAISES FUNDS FOR THE DONKEY SANCTUARY

The Albion Aviation Group recently made a donation to The Donkey Sanctuary. The UK registered charity has had a single focus for over 50 years; improving the welfare of as many donkeys as possible. Established in 1969 by the late Dr Elisabeth Svendsen, who purchased her first donkey named “Naughty Face”, The Donkey Sanctuary has grown from humble beginnings to what is now one of the world’s largest equine welfare charities. The charity plans to use its knowledge and expertise to change the world for donkeys, and by doing so, the lives of those who depend on and care for them. The Donkey Sanctuary’s vision is a world where every donkey has a good quality of life.

Lewis King (Albion Director) comments:We wanted to donate to a worthy animal charity this year and The Donkey Sanctuary ticked all the boxes for us. The charity’s incredible work is far reaching, not only in the UK, but also across the continents of Africa, South America and Asia, with a focus on improving the lives of this much-loved animal.

Jacqueline Larcombe (Philanthropy Manager) comments:We are very grateful for the Albion Aviation Group’s support which will help improve the welfare and wellbeing of donkeys in the UK and across the world. Thank you for helping them to live the lives they deserve.”
