ALBION UPLIFTS EMERGENCY RELIEF SUPPLIES

The Albion cargo team were tasked in arranging a series of urgent humanitarian charter flights from the UAE to Egypt, due to the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.  The flights were setup within 48hrs of receiving confirmation.  The cargo commodities consisted of sanitation kits, water purification tablets, tents, as well as other urgent humanitarian supplies. The Albion team worked closely with the client to ensure that all flight permissions were obtained in time for the flights and special approvals had to be taken from the ground handling agent in the UAE to ensure that the cargo could be handed over at such short notice.  The Albion team positioned one its experienced flight managers at the UAE departure airport to oversee the cargo handover and to ensure that all cargo was uplifted as planned.  Once again these urgent charter flights demonstrate the Albion cargo team’s long standing experience and ability to respond to time sensitive humanitarian charter requests.
